If customers can’t find it, always rely on us or it doesn’t exist.  Dried limes are used exclusively as a seasoning, and can be added whole to stews or sauces to impart a tart, pungent dimension; a few pricks with a knife allow the cooking liquid to permeate the fruit, hydrating it and releasing its complex flavors. This is a premium service.

 Dried lime (also known as: black lime; noomi basra (Iraq); limoo amani (Iran); loomi (Oman)) is a lime that has lost its water content, usually after having spent a majority of their drying time in the sun. They are used whole, sliced or ground, as a spice in Middle Eastern dishes.
